4th annual Community Fair
     ALPINE-Saturday, March 12, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Albertsons 4th Annual Community Fair at 2955 Alpine Blvd.
     Sponsored by the Alpine Mountain Empire Chamber of Commerce. Free vendor spaces available. Must provide your own chairs/table/popup tent or canopy. RSVP to Kelly at Chamber.Kelly@att.net.

Alpine Pop Warner Registration
     ALPINE - Registration for Alpine Pop Warner Football and Cheer is scheduled to start for the 2011 season. There will be three dates for registration this year.
     The first date is Saturday, March 12 at Shadow Hills Elementary School from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
     All home games are played at Granite Hills High School and practices are held at the Viejas recreation center. Alpine Pop Warner has reduced registration fees this year for both football and cheer. Discounts are available for signing up on the first registration day as well as for multiple players. Vintage Vegas Gala
     ALPINE - Mtn. Health & Community Services and the Alpine Community Center are hosting a Vintage Vegas Gala at the center on Saturday, March 19.
     Cocktails and games begin at 6 p.m. Dinner and entertainment begin at 7 p.m. and Dancing at 8:30 p.m. Spend an evening in Old Las Vegas, when crooners and showgirls dominated the strip.
     Tickets are $40 per person, with all proceeds benefiting local children through the Mtn. Health Uninsured Children's Health Fund and Children's Programs at the community center.

     ALPINE - The local Alpine Branch Library hosts many different program and events.
     Grade-schoolers (age 5-12): March 12 - 1-3 p.m. - crafts with the Purple Lady - Make a Leprechaun's hat for St. Patrick's Day. March 26 - Craft Table with lots to choose from - Make it here or take it home for later.

St. Patrick's Day dinner
     ALPINE - The Alpine Community Center is hosting a St. Patrick's Day dinner party on Friday, March 11 from 4:30 to 7 p.m.
     Cost is $15 per person. $12 per person for seniors or ACC members. Diner includes corned beef, cabbage, potatoes, carrots, dessert, salad and rolls. No host bar.
