Agenda
The
public is welcome to the monthly meetings of the
Campo/Lake Morena Planning Group, which is the
County-sponsored link between the community and the
County dealing with planning and land use.
Members of the public will be given the opportunity to
speak regarding any item on the agenda. In
addition, during Public Discussion, members of the
community will be given the opportunity to address
other matters pertaining to groundwater issues in our
area. No action or vote may be taken on items
not on the agenda. The final agenda will be
posted at the Campo Post Office, Cameron Corners
Market, La Posta Diner and the Lake Morena Market 72
hours prior to the meeting.

I had an email from Dr. Tim Ross of the State Dept. of
Water Resources noting that he would get in contact
with Jim Bennett of the County to see how he might
work with them on groundwater in our Planning Area. No
commitment yet on scope of effort.

Referred by Larry Johnson, book on “Investigating
Groundwater Systems …”.
c.
KPBS, Chan 15, is starting a series on Water. The
first is on Climate Change and will air on 4/22/06 @
6:30 p.m.

Read the Mission Statement approved by the Planning
Group.

Note and discuss the major components of the Statement

Note and discuss some of the possible key steps along
the way. What would a rough time line look like?

Note that flexibility, concentrated effort, attendance
with active participation, open focused discussions,
respect for others opinions and good communication
will help move the effort along.

Discuss the need for a Quorum, adding and removing
people on the Subcommittee.
