Winners and losers alike went home with a few dreams realized after participating in the 2005 Miss Alpine and Miss Teen Alpine Pageant, held in the glamorous surroundings of Viejas’ DreamCatcher Show Room. The March 7 festivities included entertainment by award-winning singer Jamie Beech, M.C. services by Tara Peters, a former Miss Teen Alpine who went on to win the Miss California USA title. Stage decoration included a full-dress Harley Davidson motorcycle lent for the occasion by The Biker Shack of Alpine. The girls competed in categories that included personal interview, sportswear and evening gown presentations, and answering an impromptu question. The entire group participated in a musical opening number.
