Hundreds of Alpine residents lined Alpine Boulevard on Saturday afternoon, to watch the 49th Annual Alpine Viejas Days parade presented by the Alpine Stagecoach Lions. Onlookers were treated to various floats from local businesses and a large number of high school marching bands. Almost every group in the parade threw candy for the children along the route. Before and after the parade, there were many activities taking place and food being served at the community park.

On board are: Chuck Preble (Strummer) on banjo and guitar, Larry Edwards (Friar) on fiddle, and Mike Robinson (Hatman) on spoons and washboard.
