Vonnie has lived in Alpine
since 1949, growing up here and attending local schools. She
grew up at the time of the beginning of The Alpine Sun and
witnessed its growth into Alpine's most trusted community
newspaper. She joined The Sun staff in 1992,
starting out in circulation and working her way up to
associate publisher. Her longstanding position in the community makes Vonnie a
great source and link to Alpine's history and its residents.

Christy
joined The Alpine Sun staff in September 2004 as a
reporter and editorial assistant. She holds a
degree in communications and has an honest enthusiasm
for covering small town and rural affairs. She was raised
in Canada and
is a fourth generation community newspaper-woman. Christy has a
real passion for local news and understands the importance of a community paper
to businesses,
residents, and the character of a small town.

Linda Marie Peterson, Advertising Account
Manager
Linda Marie
came to Alpine as a teenager in 1972, when her father
purchased Alpine Liquor. She attended high school at both
Valhalla and Granite Hills and currently lives in Pine Valley
with her husband, Ron. She has many years of experience in
sales. Along the way, she also operated a dairy farm in Texas
for five years and sold Harley Davidson motorcycles in
Arizona. A longtime reader of The Alpine Sun, she
came to our office in February 2004 and has been very
successful with local clients who enjoy her fresh, honest approach to serving
