Supes embrace study of Dyke parkland offer 
     The San Diego County Board of Supervisors voted last week to begin studies on a potential park site in Alpine. The land in question has been offered to the community by local businessman Tom Dyke.      In a surprise move, a former Border Patrol agent — who was charged with conspiracy to smuggle aliens and who was an undocumented worker himself — has pleaded guilty to the entire indictment against him. Airport authority to meet with rural residents

     BOULEVARD — Alpine Sun columnist Joe Forlenza will moderate a town hall meeting for Back Country residents and The San Diego County Regional Airport Authority on Feb. 16 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Boulevard Community Center, 29919 Ribbonwood Road.
     Instead of airport authority board members, technical staff who are preparing airport studies will be available to answer questions.
