Accused police officer out on bail  
A suspended San Diego police officer who lives in Alpine faces a July 27 preliminary hearing after being charged with 18 counts of having unlawful sexual relations with a 17-year-old girl.

Alpine’s original Town Hall is considering the pros and cons of historic designation by the San Diego County Department of Planning and Land Use Historic Site Board.
