CDF is issuing no more burn permits
California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection has suspended issuance of brush burning permits, with the onset of fire season.
In addition, campfires, other than those in established campfire facilities are prohibited.
All areas of state responsibility are affected by the ban and the only exceptions are instances where state rangers or other authorized agents of the Director of Forestry and Fire Protection may issue restricted temporary burning permits whenever it can be shown that burning or use of open fire is essential for reasons of public health, safety, or welfare.
Fire season will officially begin
this Monday, June 5.
