AUSD faces challenges of No Child Left Behind act  
     Alpine Union School Board members accepted $10,000 and talked about the “No Child Left Behind Act,” at the regular meeting on Feb. 22. The group also discussed the painting of BOES, presented information and discussed how Joan Mac Queen Middle School monitors their students’ test scores. The Greater Alpine Fire Safety Council is working hard to bring the best fire safety information and education as well as implementing chipping programs to further resident’s efforts in brush clearance and fuel reduction around homes.
