County approves purchase of new Sheriff’s station   
     The San Diego County Board of Supervisors has approved the purchase of a 1.26-acre site in Alpine for use as a Sheriff’s station. The property at 2751 Alpine Blvd. currently has a two-story building, which was constructed in 2003 and totals 14,188 square feet.
