Kiwanis raises
money with recycling
ALPINE — The Kiwanis Club of Alpine is helping the Ronald
McDonald House of San Diego to raise money through a
recycling program. There are two methods which the club is
employing; collecting pull-tabs from aluminum cans, and
collecting Hotels and Motels bar soap and
shampoo/conditioners.
The money is used to help occupants of the House who have
sons and daughters in the The Rady Children’s Hospital that
are suffering from cancer and other diseases. The soap and
shampoo are also distributed to the occupants to help them
with their daily needs.
If you can help please contact Kiwanian Dick Rabell at
445-5712, or you can drop off any donations at The Alpine
Sun office at 2144 Alpine Blvd.
