No Lie, Good Charlotte play the Liars Club Tavern & Grill

By Al Guerra
For The Alpine Sun
The Liars’ Club Tavern & Grill and Sophie103.7 welcomed multi-platinum act Good Charlotte on Sunday July 20 to a special acoustic set for fans and locals. Regulars piled in waiting to see if Nicole Ritchie, Paris Hilton and the Paparazzi would arrive. After two hours of waiting only the brothers Benji and Joel Madden arrived at the Liars’ Club without the girls and cameras. They proceeded to play an outstanding acoustic set before heading to Viejas Concerts In The Park for a sold out show.

Pine Creek Posse played the last concert in the park

For The Alpine Sun
The Alpine Community Park was filled with Alpine community members, including seniors and families who completely enjoyed the talents of the Pine Creek Posse, who played old time rock-n-roll along with country, classics and many other favorites.
The foot-tappin’ tunes tempted so many people to get up and shake a leg on the dance floor. Line dancers, waltzers, and miscellaneous movers were up there showin’ their stuff.
The summer concerts are an annual entertainment that have become an awaited summer-time tradition.
