Alpine Garden Club Potluck
ALPINE — After a three-year hiatus the Alpine Garden Club will hold its first meeting on Saturday. Aug. 1 at 10 a.m. at the home of Peter Swoboda, 840 Midway Drive, Alpine. It will be a Pot Luck luncheon and anyone interested in meeting people who love to garden, as well as learning about local flowers, plants and trees are welcome to attend.
The Alpine Garden Cub was started on July 8, 1994 and at one time had over 35 members. Due to illness and the passing of several members it disbanded. However, Peter Swoboda would like to re-start this casual and informative group.
This club has no president, no secretary and no treasurer. There are no minutes and no fund raising activities. It is just a group of gardening enthusiasts who get together once a month to share clippings, seeds and information about local horticulture.
For further information please call Peter at 806-3657.
