address budget crisis and concerns
Members of the public were invited to “An
Evening With Elected Officials,” last Wednesday,
Oct. 21 at the Viejas Dreamcatcher Lounge. The

Empire Chamber of Commerce in partnership with

County approves funding of Sheriff helicopter
Under a Memorandum of Understanding approved
last month by the San Diego County Board of
Supervisors, the San Diego Service Authority for
Freeway Emergencies (SAFE) program will
reimburse the County of San Diego up to $375,000
per year over the next five fiscal years for the
cost of Sheriff’s Department helicopters used
