county's Planning Commission was scheduled to
hear a proposed ordinance regulating the zoning
of solar and wind energy systems on April 2, but
late information caused a 7-0 vote to return the
matter to county Department of Planning and Land

Alpine Wall of Honor is proposed
A Wall of Honor has been proposed to commemorate
our Alpine and Mountain Empire veterans. This
wall will be built at the corner of the Alpine
Community Center on Alpine Boulevard, for easy
access to the public. Names are being taken to
put up on the wall, to remember those who served
