A step
forward for the high school
On Sept. 20, the new superintendent for the
Grossmont Union High School District (GUHSD),
Ralf Swenson, paid a visit to Alpine by
attending the regular monthly meeting of the
Alpine High School Citizens Committee. Following
brief presentations by members of the committee,
Superintendent Swenson commented on the status
of the new high school to be built on the
90-plus acre site of the former Lazy A ranch -
