Set in the Oklahoma territory in the early 1900s on the ranches of Aunt Eller (Mary Welsh) and Andrew Carnes (Cody Harris), this musical tells the story of two pairs of lovers. Curly (Brice Cloke) is a cowboy who has trouble admitting his feelings to Laurey (Claire Doucet), as she does to him, because of their stubbornness. Judd (Greg Shue), the hired hand at Laurey’s farm, tries to come between them. Ado Annie (Milena Marino) is torn between Will (Bradley Ramos), a cowboy who has strong feelings for her, and Ali Hakim (Walker Holmes), a peddler who’s a ladies’ man and doesn’t want to marry her. The road to true love is anything but smooth, but there’s not a doubt that these romantics will succeed in making a life together in a brand new state: OKLAHOMA!
