Military History convoys down Alpine Boulevard

Over sixty military vehicles that cover an era of military history rambled through Alpine on Saturday, October 17th.  
They began their journey across the United States, beginning in Washington DC, on September 19th, and have traversed the United States, finishing in Point Loma at Fort Rosencrans.

This Military Vehicle Preservation Association launched the 2015 Bankhead Convoy, the 95th Anniversary Canvoy, that retraced the Transcontinenatl Motor Convoy route along the Bankhead Highway.  The 3,300 mile, 29 day convoy represents America’s longest veteran’s parade, and honrs the U.S. ground forces legacy paying tribut to the serice and scrifice of veterans of all generations.
