Over thirty people showed up first thing Friday morning at the Baron’s Marketplace Job Fair. The fair focused on introducing Baron’s mission, collecting applications, and interviewing potential candidates. Baron’s is hoping to open in our town this fall.

Alpine gathered at the Alpine Museum, on Saturday June 7th, to celebrate their annual celebration of Alpine’s history.
This year the Alpine Historical Society invited the “Hole in the Wall Gang” entertained all with their skits of days gone by. The members of this group have been in movies, on television and on commercials.

The ribbon cutting for the new Pine Valley Sheriff’s Substation was on Friday, June 6th, welcoming Sheriff Gore, and Supervisor Dianne Jacob.
Last year, County Supervisors unanimously voted to approve building the new $3.3 million sheriff’s substation in Pine Valley just east of the Pine Valley County Park. This new station has long been a top priority for the community, and the building has added so much to the community.
