An indicator for Fall is often the turning of the leaves.  But another thing is the festival season.  I love the Harvest Festivals, the Fall Festival, the Halloween Carnivals, and the Craft Fairs.
Every Year, the  Alpine Country Gifts and Crafts show cycles in for it’s fall show, and it’s a huge treat to see all the hand crafted items that they have to offer.

Someone who wants to share his or her talent makes every piece that is sold at this show.  The quilted items, the signs that make you smile, the jewelry and woodworking is all produced through labors of love.  These pieces are not mass-produced they have originality and identity.
Another favorite is the kitchen area as well.  The tasty treats that are sold can satisfy any sweet tooth.  There were homemade carrot cakes, brownies, smore’s treats, and I looked for the coconut cake but they must have been sold out.
If you are looking for a special gift for the holiday season check out the festivals in town.  They are welcoming vendor booths, so stop by and peruse their goods.  Many items you can’t find anywhere else. So often people wait for the craft fair to come back around so they can get that special seasoning, dip mix, holiday décor or sign.
