Alpine History Day welcomes all to enjoy the past

On June 1, starting at 11 a.m. the Alpine Historical Society opened their doors to the Alpine Museum Grounds to everyone, to enjoy a day that harkened back into Alpine’s colorful history.  On display was the newly donated and renovated buggy, Sophrina Nichols home along with the carriage house in the  back was opened for perusal.   Homemade chili, salads, bread, drinks and ice cream sundaes were served and the awards for the annual third grade essay contest were announced.

This is one of the Society’s major fundraisers, and helps with the preservation of our community’s grand history.
